Commissioned piece for Labocine's "Scenes from the Forest" initiative. A 60 minute static shot of the Dos Palmas Preserve, in the Colorado Desert of Southern California. Over the course of the hour, the rising sun produces a constantly evolving composition as the light illuminates the palm trees. The endangered Yuma Clapper Rail can be heard throughout the piece.
